Newly Appointed in Fall 2013

Dr. Andrea Vigh has been appointed Rector of the Liszt Academy of Music and Dr. Kálmán Dráfi and Dr. Miklós Mohay as Professors of the academy.

The President of the Repblic of Hungary has entrusted Dr. Andrea Vigh,  professor and vice rector general, with the duties and responsibilities of the Rector of the Liszt Academy of Music in the period of November 1, 2013 – October 31, 2018. The new rector of the Liszt Academy was presented the certificate of appointment on October 14, 2013 by the President.

The President of the Republic of Hungary has announced in the Hungarian Official Journal that Dr. Kálmán Dráfi, pianist and Acting Head of the Keyboard, Harp and Percussion Department and Dr. Miklós Mohay, teaching within the Musicology Department, are appointed Academy Professors as of September 1, 2013 and September 20, 2013, respectively. The appointments were ceremoniously presented by Zoltán Balog, the Minister of National Resources, on October 8, 2013 at the Museum of Fine Arts.
