The most important class, however, for me and for hundreds of other Hungarian musicians, was the chamber-music class. From about the age of fourteen, and until graduation from the Academy, all instrumentalists except the heavy-brass players and percussionists had to participate in this course. Presiding over it for many years was the composer Leó Weiner, who thus exercised an enormous influence on three generations of Hungarian musicians.

On 16 June, the ticket office of the Liszt Academy will operate with special working hours

We kindly inform our concert audience that due to the festive event organised by the 6th District Council at Liszt Ferenc Square on 16 June, the ticket office of the Liszt Academy will be open until 10pm that day (the building itself will not be accessible, however; entree is provided solely to the ticket office).
