The vocal recital of Milica Stojadinović and Maja Grujić displays a wide spectrum of Spanish song literature of the 20th century. During the first half of the concert, songs of folk and urban origin will be performed while the theme of the second part will be the zarzuela, the dramatic vocal genre, traditionally famous in the Spanish music literature.

With the interpretation of Milica Stojadinović, the temperament of Spanish rhythms is completed with the just as passionate South Slavic character.

Milica Stojadinović was the principal singer of the National Theater of Novi Sad for many years and currently she is the oratorio and lied professor of the Academy of the Arts in Novi Sad, formerly the head of the department. She completed her studies in Belgrade and obtained a doctoral degree (PhD) in theatre studies at the Academy of the Arts in Novi Sad by analysing the heroines of Puccini. During the 2000s she was considered to be one of the most influential sopranos in Serbia.

While having a diverse music education career, she gave concerts in multiple countries, like France, Great Britain, Russia, Romania, the states of former Yugoslavia and in the National Theatre of Pécs, Hungary.

Pianist Maja Grujić conducted her studies at the University of Arts in Belgrade where she perfected her technique with specialised chamber music training in the class of Olivera Djurdjević. Since Maja Grujić’s sensitivity towards vocal accompaniment was already discovered during her years at the University, she fulfilled her artistic career in this particular field. She gave multiple concerts in Serbia but also performed in Paris and Lisbon. Currently, she is the piano accompanist in the classes of Vitkay Kovács Vera, Biserka Cvejić and Milica Stojadinović at the Academy of the Arts in Novi Sad.
