We would like to inform our audience that according to the government decision effective from 11 November 2020, no public events can be held, so we are unable to hold concerts at the Liszt Academy with an audience. However, our audience will not be left without a concert experience, as most of our performances will be held and broadcast online in our Digital Concert Hall, and most of the concerts of the orchestras organizing concert series at the Liszt Academy will also be available online.

Two young ladies from Rome (Clara Iannotta) and Belgrade (Milica Djordjević), and two young men from Budapest (Máté Bella, Péter Tornyai) – each with prestigious competition results and scholarships to her or his name. Alongside the works of these young talents, the Klangforum Wien, an internationally recognized formation that has dedicated itself to modern music, will also perform a work each by Enno Poppe, a composer of the middle generation, and Salvatore Sciarrino, who is by now considered a classic. The latter composer wrote the piece now performed at the Liszt Academy in 2005, and in 2006 it was already played in Hungary, at the Arcus Temporum festival in Pannonhalma. Archeologia del telefono is a real piece of its time, which may have sounded like a prophecy fifteen years ago, but it is the future turned present in 2019.
