Magyarország, ahol ma is alig élnek többen tízmilliónál, annyi muzsikust és oly sok kiváló zeneművet adott a világnak. Hálás vagyok, hogy ott születtem, és ott tanulhattam.

Guided Tours

Dear Audience,

With the aim of ensuring efficient protection against the new coronavirus (2019-nCoV) that is spreading throughout Europe, the Government of Hungary ordered a nationwide state of emergency  on 11 March 2020.

In accordance with the government’s decision aimed at providing protection against the coronavirus, events and guided tours at the Liszt Academy will be cancelled from 12 March 2020 until further measures are adopted.

In view of the fact that we are currently considering the possibility of delaying certain programmes to a later date, we will shortly publish specific information concerning ticket refunds for events organized by the Liszt Academy Concert Centre.

The ticket office of the Liszt Academy is open from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the last performance scheduled for the day.

Please consult the website of the Liszt Academy for the latest information on the current situation.

Thank you for your kind understanding!

Unbelievably gorgeous!

"We visited the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music 2 times during our stay in Budapest. Once to tour the music conservatory/concert halls during the day (daily tours are offered in English with a bonus performance at the conclusion of your tour) and a second visit to attend an evening piano recital.

The tour was fantastic (classical music fan here) and at the conclusion, we were treated to a performance by a wonderful pianist who was a graduate of the academy.

The piano recital was held at night as was absolutely wonderful.

The building itself is an absolutely stunning work of art - if you like Art Nouveau, you will be completely blown away by the beauty of the building. I highly recommend a visit if you are in the area (centrally located right off Andrassy - Ferenc Liszt Square)."
