Gergely Ménesi replaces Zoltán Kocsis on the 15th november

We inform our audience, that due to the illness of maestro Zoltán Kocsis,the 15 November 2015 concert of the Liszt Academy Symphony Orchestra will be conducted by Gergely Ménesi. The programme remains unmodified.

Before becoming a conductor Gergely Ménesi studied in different instrumental fields (violin, piano, organ) and sang in choirs. Since his graduation from the Liszt Academy in 1997, he has been linked to various renowned Hungarian and European orchestras. At the Liszt Academy he is currently the principal conductor of the Symphony Orchestra.
