Information on ticket purchases

If you wish to purchase tickets in person, visit the ticket office of the Liszt Academy Concert Center located in the main building of the Liszt Academy (1061 Budapest, Liszt Ferenc Square 8.), next to the main entrance.

The ticket office in the building of the Liszt Academy is open every day from 14:00 to 18:00 and until the end of the first intermission of the concert on days when there is a concert. On the day of matinee performances, the ticket office opens half an hour before the announced start time.

Please note that the ticket office will be closed on 1 May.

You can purchase tickets for all concerts held at the Liszt Academy at the ticket office, not only for shows organized by the Liszt Academy. Tickets for concerts organized at other venues are also available at the ticket office; our colleagues will provide information about them on site.

We accept both cash and credit cards, but purchases with OTP SZÉP cards are not available at the ticket office. If you need an invoice for your purchase, please let our colleagues know before making the purchase.

Liszt Academy Gift cards

The gift card issued by the Liszt Academy Concert Center can only be used to purchase tickets for concerts organized by the Academy itself. The validity of gift cards purchased previously, which expire between November 1, 2022, and November 30, 2023, has been extended until December 31, 2023. Cards purchased between January 1 and March 31, 2023, are valid for one year from the date of purchase. The amount on the gift card can be used to buy tickets for any number of concerts organized by the Liszt Academy Concert Center. Gift cards can be used to purchase tickets both online and at the ticket office of the Liszt Academy. We will issue another gift card shortly, please check our website for further details.

Discounts for concerts organized by the Liszt Academy Concert Center

The Liszt Academy Concert Center offers visitors various discounts for concerts organized by the Academy itself. These concerts are marked with a lyre symbol displayed next to the title of the concert both on our website and in our publications. Follow this link to see the list of programs organized by the Liszt Academy.

Concerts not marked with the lyre symbol are organized by the orchestra or the performing artist renting the given hall of the Liszt Academy. Information about tickets and other services is available from the external organizers. For details on these concerts, please consult the website of the concert organizer.

1. Student tickets:
   
   Students with a valid student ID can purchase tickets at a price of HUF 500 for all concerts held at the Liszt Academy. The seats for student tickets are located on the second-floor gallery of the Grand Hall and there are designated student seats in the Solti Hall. For concerts organized by the Liszt Academy Concert Center, student tickets may be issued to other seats as well, depending on attendance.
   
   
2. Series discounts for concerts organized by the Liszt Academy:
   

   10% when purchasing tickets for two different concerts at the same time

   15% when purchasing tickets for three different concerts at the same time

   20% when purchasing tickets for four or more different concerts at the same time
   
   

3. Liszt Academy Extra:
   

   The Liszt Academy Extra is the loyalty program of the Liszt Academy Concert Center. Those who sign up for the program receive regular information about our events in a newsletter, and we intend to present personalized offers to program participants at a later point. Subscribers to the Liszt Academy Extra program are entitled to a 5% discount on every purchase and can also use the series discount.
   
   

4. Disability discount:
   
   There are two seats available in the Grand Hall for those arriving in a wheelchair and/or are accompanied by assistance dogs. For concerts organized by the Liszt Academy, the available discount rate is 90% of the ticket price for the given concert for people with disabilities and 60% for their companion.
   
   
5. Group escort discount:
   
   Teachers or parents accompanying student groups can request a free ticket to the concerts organized by the Liszt Academy. Student groups must consist of at least 10 students.  For groups of 20 or more, two free escort tickets can be requested.
