Liszt Academy Christmas Holidays Opening Hours
The majority of Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music’s buildings will be closed between 23 December and 6 January 2014.
The Liszt Academy Concert Palace at Liszt square, the Old Music Academy, the György Ligeti building, the Semmelweis street, Vörösmarty street and Üllői way buildings will be closed from 23 December and 6 January with minor exceptions.
The Liszt Academy Concert Centre Ticket Office will be open from 11 am to 2 pm on 24 December, and from 27 January (excluding 1 January) will be open from 11 am to 6.30 pm each day, or until the first interval of the concert. The Liszt square palace will naturally be open during concerts.
Practicing and rehearsals in the Old Music Academy, the György Ligeti building, the Semmelweis street, Vörösmarty street and Üllői way buildings are only allowed when fulfilling study-obligations and exam preparations, with the permission of the University Registrar.
The Liszt Ferenc Memorial Museum and Research Centre is open on 27-28 and 30 December. From 2 January it welcomes its visitors in its regular opening hours.
