Application is open to both major international competitions at the Liszt Academy

Organizers of the 6th Éva Marton International Singing Competition and the 8th Bartók World Competition for composers welcome applications for both events from around the world.

This year, the Liszt Academy is hosting two significant international competitions that have garnered considerable interest from around the world: the Éva Marton International Singing Competition, which is open to the general public, and the Bartók World Competition, which has a composer round in even-numbered years.

The prestige of both events is well reflected by the fact that applicants come from dozens of countries for each event, from all continents of the globe.

The Éva Marton International Singing Competition for young opera singers, which includes preliminary and semifinal rounds, finals, and a gala concert, will take place from September 1st to 8th. The Bartók World Competition for composers is conducted without live rounds and the event’s award ceremony gala will be organized at the Liszt Academy on November 23rd.

The two events can be enjoyed either in person or through high-quality online streaming, allowing music lovers from anywhere in the world to follow them closely.
