This is to inform our audience that the band will hold their concert in the Grand Hall of the Liszt Academy on 29 December.

‘The great Russian school of piano.’ One frequently comes across this term in CVs and concert programmes, immediately bringing to mind the names Rachmaninov, Gilels and Richter, and of our day Sokolov, Korolyov, Berezovsky, Kissin or even Matsuev.

The ensemble collected a silver medal as the best chamber formation at the Società Umanitaria international competition in Milan.

In addition to the online galleries and Street View panorama created in collaboration with Google Cultural Institute, the Liszt Academy has also put together its own self-developed virtual tour.

From 1 December, tickets for concerts in the eight new series announced mid-November can be purchased via the Liszt Academy website and at the box office on Liszt Ferenc Square.

The programme of the next concert in the Chamber Music Tuned for Grand Hall series remains unmodified.

Balázs Dobóczy’s work on the ad clip for the Liszt Academy Concert Centre was voted best in the promotional film category of the 2015 Golden Eye Cinematographer Festival.

The cello contest arranged between 19-22 November ended with a double Liszt Academy victory.

Cuban artist Leo Brouwer has cancelled his European trip so he will not be able to take part in the festival organized in his honour. Instead, the closing concert of the programme will be conducted by Joan Pagès.

The jury presented ten accolades, with winners picking up the prize and HUF 2 million in support.
