We inform the professors and students of the Liszt Academy of Music that the rector, Dr. András Batta has announced that there will be no classes on October 22, 2013, the day of the inauguration ceremony of the main building on Liszt Ferenc Square. The Fall Break starts the following week from October 28 to November 3, 2013. The Hungarian government has declared the opening gala of October 22 a national event of major importance and state protocol priority. The professors of the university are therefore invited to attend a special opening ceremony on October 20 and also the invitation-only opening concert on October 26. Students can attend the festive events with tickets allocated to the Student Council and we welcome all members of the university community to the programs of the Liszt Academy Concert Center as announced earlier.
